How we verify

• Every requirement cites its source.Hours, exams, and fees trace to the state licensing board or a federal source, linked at the bottom of every roadmap, with a visible “last verified” date. When something is unconfirmed, the page says so instead of guessing.
• Pay is the honest curve. Median first, from BLS data, salary surveys, and live postings. Where a headline number exists (the $200k traveling tech), we publish what it costs: travel, per-diem life, 55-hour weeks.
• Corrections beat pride. Sourced corrections get fixed fast — corrections@zerotojourneyman.com.
• Research is AI-assisted, accountability is human.We use AI to track 50 states of licensing rules at a depth a small team couldn't otherwise afford — and every published roadmap is reviewed against its primary sources before it ships.

How we make money

Plainly, because you should never have to wonder:

• The knowledge is never paywalled. Roadmaps, requirements, and pay data are free, forever. We will never sell you a PDF of what the licensing board publishes.
• We may earn from things we'd recommend anyway — clearly-marked affiliate links and, in future, listings from schools or employers. Money never changes a ranking or a requirement; anything sponsored is labeled.
• Paid products do things for you — future tools like exam prep or career-document kits. Reading is free; done-for-you costs.
